Fairies and fantasy stories were a big part of my childhood. Whether I was being read novels like The Hobbit or being shown places in the garden where a fairy might hide, I felt inspired to imagine magical things.

As an adult, my everyday life is secular and decidedly un-magical. This is far from being a bad thing, but it does sometimes lack a certain whimsy or playfulness. Fate of Kin is my way of indulging in a bit of fantastical fun. Hopefully it might give you a bit as well!
